I love comics, graphic novels, and Wool, so thought it was pretty cool when I was chosen to win this book through the giveaways. Three years ago, Holston's wife Allison became convinced that the outside world was livable and that the IT department, which runs the external sensors, had deceived the rest of the Silo. He persuades Charlotte and Darcy to go without him, while he plans to set off Silo 1's embedded demolition charges so that the other Silos will be liberated from the tyranny of Thurman and Operation Fifty. Intrigued to see where the next issue is going to take me, but I do hope it will be a little better than this.

Most of them are classified as science fiction, since they often take place in the future, but if you love great stories and memorable characters, you'll dig what you find here. This is one of the more grounded post apocalyptic comics I've read recently that didn't leave me scratching my head pondering WTH was going on (East of West I'm looking squarely at you). The " Silo Saga" was one of the first settings licensed in 2013 for the Kindle Worlds platform for self-publishing fanfiction. In this first issue, the silo is explored, the cast of characters is introduced, and a lie is revealed.Juliette thinks Lukas is being sent out and tries to save the person released into the air lock, which is actually Bernard.

We find that the IT department has been limiting the flow of information and this leads to a huge cover-up about the true function of the silos and who created them. BUT: for a fan of the series, To see the story, characters, and the silo itself brought to life through this medium is a real treat.Bernard is elevated to mayor and eventually replaces Juliette with his own choice for sheriff, Peter Billings. He also tells her about IT's secrets, and relates that after she left, Silo 18's Mechanical staff launched a rebellion against Bernard. A cluster of eleven Silos, led by Silo 40, severed contact with Silo 1 and jammed the termination signal, forcing Silo 1 to resort to demolishing them.
