It's not forced, there aren't gaping holes, it's a solid little tale about something creepy happening at school and Olive not remembering what weird thing happened to her this past summer but thinking it had something to do with her incarcerated mother.So much better than I had expected it to be with some truly lovely artwork and a really fun story which kind of reminds me a bit of Lumberjanes in the adventurous feeling, but also is for an audience maybe a little older (hence the boarding school setting).
