After 5 months since I first sprayed my bottle of CDN Blue Iconic I can confidently say that it gets better with age, it smells almost identical to BDC EdP during the dry down now that it has fully macerated, the main difference is the opening is more citrusy with a very slight hint of the original CDN intense Man DNA in the background, personally I like the extra citrusy opening. I would've liked it to have just a little more sweetness to it with the melon amped up a little more but that's just my personal preference. For the first few days I got more of a EDT performance, I didn't really get that incense or that spicy bite BDCEDP gives, but more so a powdery accord at the drydown. I got this one to travel with so I didn’t have to bring my BDC EDP with me but honestly I’m a bit underwhelmed with it. He used to share his fragrance reviews on many social media platforms and gained lots of recognition. The smokiness of the incense will beautifully mix with the cedar, sandalwood, patchouli and labdanum notes. I'd say this leans most toward the EDT and it's extremely close, especially after ~30 minutes or so.

The opening is very fresh, citrus, alcoholic, like a nice gin coctail, probably harsh for some people but I like it. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. To my nose it has maybe 90% (90 bc i only owned the EDP not the EDT) resemblance when u smell it up close, but in the air it has 99% resemblance (the 1% is for my pride for using a clone). I would say this one turns a bit sweeter in the dry down than the original but overall it smells similar after half an hour and lasts longer than the original. This fragrance was released in 2022, and was an immediate commercial success because of its incredible performance.
